It is interesting to note that a re-dedication ceremony will be taking place this Sunday for the remounting of the Lockheed T-Bird. One can see whereby the markings on the aircraft are in dire need of replacing - all faded and with some of the letters not being complete. One would think whoever worked on the aircraft could have contacted the Air Museum in Edmonton and find out where new decals could be obtained - as well the hull could have used a buffing to get rid of the dull features. As I recall over two years ago CROUSE put forward amotion of 500 thousand dollars for the re-installing of the aircraft on a pedestal as well I believe HERON wanted to see the instrument panl installed (even tho it is approx. eighteen feet up and not visible.

Just a comment regarding 'warmodel's' posting on the T-33, believe me as his pseudonym would imply he knows what he is talking about. This is so typical of the Crouse regime in getting a good return on investments, said with tongue in cheek of course! On the other hand, perhaps they are into what is trending in automotive restorations that involves leaving a vehicle in an 'as is' state with its natural patina but I very much doubt that.
